BHADERWAH,MAY 06 (KNO) : BJP workers accorded a warm reception to Minister for Power Sunil Sharma and Minister of State Shakti Raj Parihar a at Bhaderwah on Saturday on their first visit to Bhaderwah after being inducted into the state Cabinet. BJP organizing general Secretary Ashok Koul and MLA Bhadewrah Daleep Singh Parihar was also accompanied the ministers . While welcoming the Ministers with great enthusiasm at Bhalla , Seri , Domail and Bhaderwah town , the people and BJP workers termed the elevation of legislators as the much needed step that would bring a significant development of Chenab valley because of due representation from the area in the present government . Speaking to a public meeting at Community hall Bhaderwah , Minister for Power Development Department Sunil Kumar Sharma assured people of all round development of the region and said that government intends to tap huge potential of power generation in the Chenab region with concrete efforts to harness the potential to the fullest. Having the portfolio of power development in hands, he will address to the problems of power shortage in the area and electrification of all the left out areas in both the districts, added the Minister. He further said all the power projects pending at different stages in the district due to one or the other reasons will be restarted at the earliest, which besides producing power, will generate a huge employment avenues for the people and will soon launch Rehber-E-Bijli in the department for the employment youth . He said the project like Kiru, Kwar, Rattle and others have a potential of different job profiles for around 30,000 youth of the area. MOS, Shakti Raj Parihar after thanking the people for having faith in his work said development is the main agenda of this government and he will work to make Doda an all weather tourist destination as the area has huge potential of tourism and need to be tapped accordingly. He assured for connectivity of all the tourist spots and promote tourism on the pattern of mega tourist destinations and informed that this year tourism festival will be organised at Bhadewrah and Lal Draman area of Doda in the last week of June . Parihar said his main focus will be on "Education in Rural areas" as education can bring desirable positive outcomes in the society which affect us socially and economically and urged upon the youth to focus on quality education. Youth is a nation building force and represent the major work force of every developed country, further added the Minister. Both the Ministers assured the people of an all round development and welfare of society especially in the matters of power ,education, tourism and other sectors. MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar in his speech extended his congratulations to the ministers and added that both the leaders deserved the promotions in their ranks. He also thanked people of this region for their endless support.District president BJP Doda Adv Manjeet Razdan , Vipan Sharma , Swami Raj ,Suresh Sharma , Firdous Bhagwan , Amin Mir , Sanjay Saraf , Narinder Kotwal and other also spoke on the occasion .
